This is my submission to the Red
Bull Rough Cuts Editing and Post Production contest of
2007. I was provided with 40 minutes of footage of professional
skater Ryan Sheckler and had to edit it down to 3 minutes.
I ended up as one of the Top 5 Finalists! (out of 1000 entrants).
First I was chosen as one of the 25 Finalists by the Red Bull
Creative Team and professional editors. Then the public voted
online for their favorites and I was voted into the Final
5. Professional skateboarder Ryan Sheckler chose the winner,
and unfortunately he didn't choose mine to win, but I am still
confident that my piece was quite worthy of winning. Take

Red Bull just sent me a custom autographed
Red Bull Rough Cuts skateboard deck from Ryan Sheckler. I'm
guessing this was a gift to the top 5 finalists, but all 25
finalists might have gotten one for all I know. Either way
it looks pretty sweet and if I'm ever in desperate need for
money I could probably fetch a pretty penny for it on E-bay.
